Legal Question in Family Law in Louisiana
To much to ask but here's one
My husbands child support is sent directly to his exwife. He had an arrears amount from when he was laid off. But she keeps changing it as soon as we think it is getting paid down. She says it is attorney fees she adds from the many times she takes him to court over silly things. She works in the court house and can have anything she wants done at the snap of her fingers. All the attorney fees I believe are actually done pro bono. Is there a way to have the child support send through the Court so they may also keep a record of what is owed and paid?

Simple math should solve your problem. You only owe what the court orders you to pay. Add up what the judgment(s) say you owe, including attorney fees, subtract what you have paid and the result is what you owe.
