Legal Question in Family Law in Louisiana

My husbands daughter is 15 and just entering high school because she failed in junior high. She lives in Texs. She will only be in the 11th grade when she is 18. Will he still have to pay until she gets out of high school, or does it cut off when she turns 18?

He is legally obligated to pay until she graduates or turns 19 whichever occurs first. However, his fatherly duty requires him to pay until she graduates. It is not at all unusual for a child to be 19 when graduating from high school. Would you stop paying for your child if she was 18 and still in high school?
