can i do this my self

my husbands ex wife was found unconcience in a car in a drug free zone in possesion of a schedule 2 cds, paraphanelia, child was no in a car seat. She was arrested and brought to jail. We were notified 3 days later by the newspaper. The ex's sister was insisting on keeping the child. My husaband checked his son out of school. He is still in our custody. the ex is listed as domicile parent with joint custody. We really cannot afford an attorney. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Does the ex stand a chance in keeping domicile status?

You can file with the Court to modify the joint custody order.

Have you spoken to any attorneys about this? Some cost substantially less than others.
