Legal Question in Family Law in Louisiana

Can I get an increase in childsupport? I live in Louisiana, the father in Dallas Texas. The divorce & childsupport was appointed in Louisiana, He was ordered to pay $250 per month while working part time at walmart while a child himself 13 years ago, our son is now 16 years old & the father know makes a substantial amount more than he did then obviously. He provides no extra support money wise or emotionally for his son. Things are more exspensive now & he is needing more.
