Legal Question in Family Law in Louisiana
Insurance
my x wife and I have joint custody of our 3kids.but i currently hold the insurance on the kids the court order states that 55/45, with me having to pay the higher %. which is $100.00 or more have to be split. but recently i have been getting the insurance bills from when she supposed to be taking the kids to the doctor. but every 3or 4 days she have taking them and have to pay a co-pay of $25.00 a pop everytime she take them. just because she works at a doctors office she thinks she can do this type of fraudjalent(sp?)act just to get the money from the percentage amt. recently my kids told me they have not been to the doctor all this time the way the ppwrk states. if this is some type of fraud going on what exactly can happen to my ex? i mean i can understand if they are really sick but every 3,4,or even 5 days and they are not even sick or have any type of disease remember were are talking about 3 kids and all of them are sick at the same time let be for real here. please help?

Re: Insurance
Since there is joint custody you are entitled to all medical records. Ask for copies of the chart for each of your kids' visits with the doctor. If there is no record, then you can take that to both the Court and the insurance company. Both will probably want to make it uncomfortable for your ex if (s)he is committing fraud.
