Legal Question in Family Law in Louisiana

Judge would not hear two years of abuse and alcoholism and awarded 50/50 custody of granddaughter to abusive and alcoholic father. What can we do, she just ruled and threatened if my daughter went to trial she would take away her domiciliary rights and child support. My daughter has done nothing but abide by the court orders and he has refuesed to comply to any of them. he's a doctor, guess he's got more pull.

If the Judge did what you said and made your daughter agree to something under the threat of taking the domiciliary status away, then you should immediately file a complaint with the Supreme Court of Louisiana. You may want to contact the LA Bar Association in Baton Rouge and ask them how to file a complaint against a Judge. I don't care if he is a doctor, you said your daughter has done everything she was ordered to do and THE FATHER HAS DONE NOTHING.....that is simply not believable, but if true, then the record will show it and your complaint against the Judge will be a slam dunk. If not true, then your daughter has a problem. Since you did not put a zip code in your question we cannot know what Judicial District Court is involved and cannot make a judgment on whether you claims are even remotely possible.
