Legal Question in Family Law in Louisiana
If I have a Judgment for joint custody and visitation for a child that I've allowed to leave the state with her father, and that's in the Judgment, and it also allots me three periods in the year for a week's worth of visitation each in the new home state (Wisconsin) then how would I go about making that LA issued Judgment executory in WI? What would that entail? Is it the same as docketing the LA judgment so it now is a WI Judgment, open to WI law interpretation and decision-making and no longer subject to LA laws?

Making it executory is filing it into the Wisconsin court records and allowing the Wisconsin courts to enforce it according to the Uniform Child Custody Act. This is a pact among states in issues of interstate child custody, parental kidnapping, etc.
