Legal Question in Family Law in Louisiana
If I have a LA judgment for visitation of my daughter in WI three times yearly, and I come to visit but he refuses to allow the visitation to occur, even with local police coming to assist and mediate and try to achieve the visitation but stop short of actual forcing of the visitation, but say they will file charges with the District Attorney, can I still file contempt in LA for reimbursement of travel expenses and to have a replacement visitation period issued and perhaps a fine as well? Or does the filing of contempt have to be in WI even though it's a LA issued Judgment?

You file for contempt with the court which issued the orders.
