What can I do legal to have my child biological father give up his rights? Spoke to him and he stated it he dont have to pay child support ne would sign it..... My child is nine and never meet him. What can I file? And do I have to have an lawyer?

If your child's father wants to voluntarily surrender his rights then there is a process. It needs to be done under the Children's Code Article 1122.
I'd recommend you hire an attorney to do so in order to make sure it's done correctly.

I disagree with Ms. Mayer. No court in their right mind would allow a father to surrender his rights or otherwise have his rights terminated UNLESS there is a man to take his place......by, in most cases, adoption. If there is no other man to step up, then do not allow him to get out of child support. Your child deserves to be supported!
