Legal Question in Family Law in Louisiana

I am legally divorced. I have exclusive use of the home that my ex-husband and I now live in. We have not settled community property nor do we have a court date set to settle community property. I want to know if I can move out of the house and use it as a rental property???

No. I bet the Judgment says use and "occupancy" of the family home. Even if it does not say that, you cannot move out and rent it without his permission. And he would get 1/2 the rent. Or he could move in if you move out. He still owns half the house. You were given the right to use and occupy it as a convenience for you.
