Legal Question in Family Law in Louisiana

I am legally married but separated from my husband...I am currently pregnant..do I have to list my husband as the father on my child's birth certificate? Do I have to give my child my husband's last name?

Yes. If he is not the father then it will involve petitioning the court to recognize natural father. The person you are married to is the legal father of any children conceived or born during marriage.
