Legal Question in Family Law in Louisiana

I am still legally married. My wife was 3 mths. pregnant when she left me and moved in with her boyfriend. She has now given birth to a baby girl. She refuses to have any contact with me. I can't afford a lawyer at this time , but need a D.N.A. test and would like to know what can be done to get to see the child without a lawyer, if anything. There are many other details that may or may not be helpful. I am able to pay some. With a payment arrangement I am willing to pay a lawyer for a divorce and child issue. If you can help it would be greatly appreciated.

Well if you cannot afford an attorney, you have a big problem. The strongest presumption of paternity (who the daddy is) is the husband of the mother. So, YOU are the father and will have to support the child unless you file a disavowal action. Since you cannot afford an attorney, you take your chances.
