Legal Question in Family Law in Louisiana

Hi, I live in Louisiana and my ex husband is required to pay child support every other friday. He has been late 18 times and the past 14 where consecutively late.

The child support checks range anywhere from 3 -7 days late. Can I request his wages to be guarished because they are consecutively late or no because he has 30 days.

I am confused on how this work because his child support checks included his portion of daycare which is due every Monday.

Why don't you just ask him to pay twice a month? If you don't want that, then he is technically in contempt of court, but do not even think about filing that. If he will not agree to a different schedule of payment, then I believe the court would order a garnishment. If he gets a paycheck every week, which is very strange, then that could be garnished.
