Legal Question in Family Law in Louisiana

I live in Louisiana-a community property state. My ex wife and I have been divorced for 3 years but we are still in court over our property settlement. I have no money to hire an attorney. I have planned to represent myself (Pro se?) This is the situation: My ex-wife has worked for our bank for 20 years. It is a small town bank with only three branches that has been in service for over 40 years. 17 years ago my brother and I borrowed money to buy my dad out of a logging business that he started-so that he could retire. We financed it at this bank. 17 yrs ago I discovered that my wife had been taking our 3000.00 pmt and keeping it and dividing it with my brothers wife and blowing it shopping-but marking the monthly bill as paid. When I found this out I confronted her-she of course cried and cried and promised to never do anything like this again. Adding up all the money they stole-it was over 120,000.00 I then went to the bank president and told him what had happened. He said I had two choices. Prosecute her for embezzlement or we could pay it back. At the time-we had two small kids-I couldn't see sending their mother to jail-although that is where I should have sent her. Our agreement between all of us four (my brother, his wife, my ex and myself) would be that in the event ANY of us sought out a divorce (if our marriage didn't survive this) THEY (the women) would never ask for a dime-Well fast forward to now-My wife left me 3 yrs ago-In the 34 yrs we have been married-we have accumulated 150 acres and a little farm equipment. I am a self employed as a farmer. I don't have any cash-Our assets are still tied up in property settlement-I cannot afford to hire an attorney. She has someone paying for hers. She wants me to sell everything and divide up the profit-but she wants ME to take all of the bills!! I cannot even afford an attorney much less this kind of settlement. She wants 175,000.00. I offered her 90,000.00 and to take all the bills if she would sign over all of the land to me-she refused that offer. I have never even seen her paycheck but the week after she left my loan officer-at the bank where she works-called to tell me that my house (a house we built 32yrs ago) had been mortgaged for 41,000.00!!!! And I didn't have a clue-she had borrowed the money on the house over a period of time (Chrismas, my daughters two weddings. cruise (that I was told her mom paid for) just all sorts of stuff!) and I was given a new payment book and told that she no longer intended to pay for it. She movied in with he mother and my life has been hell. I plan to represent myself but I want to know if I can appeal if I lose? Help me please-This woman has destroyed me-my credit is shot-she STILL works at this bank and has even TYPED UP A FALSE BANK STATEMENT!! And yes I have been to her supervisor-she said this is a personal family matter-After she left I found 3,200.00 worth of checks that she forged my name to-I had no idea-this is not a joke and I am telling the whole truth.

She is your ex-wife, but the bank's employee. Find a lawyer who represents banks & discuss suing her and the bank.
