Do judges generally take into account

when deciding custody:

When one parent has a long history

of drug/alcohol; domestic violence; ad

theft charges.

When the parent leaves for periods of

time not contacting the home and

cutting off $ needed by the family.

When the parent had a child who is

now 21 and was ordered supervised

visits because they were unfit.

Alot of the things you mentioned are all looked at and can possibly have an affect on custody if the parent is continuing to abuse alcohol and/or drugs.
