Legal Question in Family Law in Louisiana

Male put name on birth certificate of child as father. DNA proved him not the father. Childs last name was changed. Child is 5 years old and this was done 6 months ago. Male and Mother lived together for six months in 2011. Was this legal and can he be made to pay child support now? Mother has since moved on.
