Legal Question in Family Law in Louisiana

I need to know

Me and my ex has never been married, we have a child together,but he has never had and thing to do with his son his whole eleven years, I would like to know could the judge give my ex visitation rights if I bring him to court for child support? He is not on the birth certificate there should be an DNA test done. Please help

He could give him visitation. However, you owe it to your son to obtain the support he is entitled to and if nothing else, you can put it in a savings account. You already lost 11 years of support so do it now.
