Legal Question in Family Law in Louisiana

I married at 19 in louisiana and we both realized it was a mistake the next day. i thought she had file for divorced and had gotten everything finalized. i then remarried in arkansas but I am still a resident of louisiana at 23 and wanted a divorce this past november 2010. i then discovered that my marriage from when i was 19 was never dissolved. In december 2010 I was grated a divorce decree for my first marriage. what do I need to do to resolved the second marriage. Or do i need to do anything since the marriage was never valid.

You will need to file a petition of divorce or to have the marriage declared invalid.

Get divorced. You thought it was legal, therefore it was legal.
