If I marry a man who pays child support from a previous relationship, am I legally and financially responsible to pay anything towards that child?

Not really, but really. Sorry, but if you marry this guy and there is no prenup, then 1/2 of your income, whether from your wages or from separate property, becomes his income. Therefore it becomes subject to seizure for his debts. Also, a small percentage can be used to adjust his income for child support purposes.
