Legal Question in Family Law in Louisiana
How many miles can a custodial parent move WITHIN the state of louisiana from the non custodial parent legally without having to get consent from the non custodial parent or the judge? Tried to do my own research on this and had difficulty finding the answer. One thing I read said 150 miles and another said 75 miles.

Usually, the Judgment will state the limits. I have always seen 75 miles within the same state. Over 75 miles or to another state will require prior court approval.
