Legal Question in Family Law in Louisiana

What if mother does not let father have child on his visitation?

My fiance is spose to get his son every other weekend starting at 6pm friday till 6pm sun. Everytime he calls to tell her he is coming(which is a 3 1/2 hour drive for him) she makes reasons for him not to be able to take his child. Also he does not get off work till 6pm and she says if he cant be there by 6 he cant have him. She wont meet me to pick him up or even bring the child here to us. Now that we are living together, she says he cant come here and stay with him becasue i live here. Now papers say a woman can not sleep in the house while he is with his father, but i have made other arrangements for when he is here. She says how will she know that i am not staying over? What can we do so he can get his son when he is spose to? is she in contempt.

thank you

He needs to contact his lawyer about modifying the visitation to fit his schedule.

Proving you are spending the night is her burden. It is not his job to prove you are not.
