movable property

couple live together for number of years, home in womans name, they acquire moveable property together, and separately throughout years together, woman suddenly dies and has a will leaving all property to her child, what rights to accumulated property does surviving member have to property? Her family members feels her will excludes any ownership by surviving partner, irreguardless of property being acqired jointly or separately.

Sorry you have to go through this, but it depends on what each party put into the property by way of money and labor etc. You need to get with an attorney and go over the situation concerning all the property. Basically, if you paid for it, it is yours, if she paid for it, it is hers and if you both paid then some interest belongs to you.
