Legal Question in Family Law in Louisiana

Can I move out of my parents house when I am 17? I have a place to stay and have been staying there for 5 months. My mom just decided to make me go home recently, and I am 2 weeks away from my seventeenth birthday.

You are not an adult until you are 18 years old and remain under your parents control until that time or such a time as you become emancipated. However, you are treated as an adult for any crimes you commit.
