Legal Question in Family Law in Louisiana

Moving

We live in Louisiana but I am originally from Maryland. I want to move back to Maryland -my marraige is on its last legs and we have an 8 month old child together (i have 2 minor children from a previous marrraige also)

My entire family is in Md. and i have been offfered a job there. (having family around would be nice especially with the new baby) Some of his family is here but do not interact with us often because of his past drug/alcohol/jail problems. (my record is clean) He has signed a paper that we drew up at home giving me authorization to make any and all decisions pertaining to raising our child. Can he dispute our move?????

Re: Moving

Anyone can dispute anything. However, if there are no pending legal proceedings, why could you not move? I would check Maryland's residency requirements to see what was required to allow you to file for divorce etc there. While the paper he signed could be used to show his attitude about child rearing, I doubt if it could be used for anything else.
