Does a non biological parent that raised a child from birth have any rights if the biological parent decides to take the child away just for pure spiteful reason in same sex situation?

Parents have the predominant right to children. It would be a difficult fight for a nonparent, but visitation may be possible. I don't want you to think that if you could prove to court that the parent was unfit and you have been only caretaker, that the court would not consider you, it's just a long shot.
