Legal Question in Family Law in Louisiana
parental rights
My friend is going thru a divorce right now. They have two children, which she recently told him were not his. but his name is on their birth certificates. He is paying 1200.00 a month on child support. She now wants him to sign away his rights, but still wants him to pay child support. If he signs away his rights does he still have to pay? Also he wants a DNA test on the kids. What does he need to do? He is willing to sign away his rights because he is a truck driver and she never lets him see the kids anyway. He figures its best to do it now while they are still little. Please HElP!

Re: parental rights
The court will not simply allow him to "sign away his rights."
