Legal Question in Family Law in Louisiana

If two parents have joint custody and one parent lives in texas and one lives in louisiana but they got the custody done in laouisiana, can the parent in louisiana file kidnapping charges against the parent in texas for not letting her see or talk to their children?

No.....you have not said that he is violating any particular provision of the custody order.....she can file for sole custody in Louisiana and have the father served in Texas via the long arm statute and if he fails to appear, she can attempt to have the court grant her custody. It takes some time and the proper procedure AND SHE NEEDS AN ATTORNEY. I assume the father moved to Texas with the mother's permission.
