Who Pays Medical Bills?

My husband filed for divorce in August. In September I found out I was pregnant. In October I had to have a D&C. Through all of this I have accumulated a lot of bills. Our divorce will be final this month. I have insurance, but these bills are for deductibles. Is he responsible for at least half of the bills or can I ask that he pays all of them? Or am I stuck with all of them?

He owes 1/2....or rather, the community property regime owes the entire bill.

I think he should pay 1/2 as, I assume, he had something to do with the pregnancy.
