Legal Question in Family Law in Louisiana

If a person has been legally separated for 18 months witht he divorce set to be final in 6 months, has not lived in the same state as the spouse he is divorcing and did not live "as man and wife" for 4 years before that, can he LEGALLY date someone now and it not be considered adultery?

If by "date" you mean have sex, no.
