what is the best physical custody for a child? also, what should the child support be set at?

In Louisiana, the presumption is that joint custody is in the child's best interests. Support depends upon the gross income of both parents, the number of children and whether there are extraordinary expenses. There is a formula and a chart of support set out in the statute.
