proof of child support ending

My 18 year old son just began his freshman year in college. He is being awarded an additional $1000 in grant money, but the college is requiring a court document stating that the child support has ceased.

What do I need to do?

I guess send a copy of the law that child support ends at 18.

Maybe your son's college is in a different state?
