In a divorce decree, does the term 'dissolve the bonds of matramonial and the community of acques and gains heretofore axisting between them' mean that the person being granted to divorce gives up all property, even though it's in their name, or jointly owned?

No, only the marriage is dissolved and the community regime ends.

No. It means that the community property regime no longer exists and any property and debt acquired after the date of termination is the separate property of the former spouse who acquired it.

Everything acquired before the date of termination is still community property. Your lawyer should be able to explain where you go from here.
