property settlement
My husbands divorce was very vague. It did state that his ex-wife was awarded the vehicle... She then didn't pay the note, so the vehicle -which was in both of their names, was reposessed. She then filed bankrupcy. Is my husband still responsible for this dept?

The lender was not a party to the property settlement. The promissory note bound the community. I regret to inform you that your husband owes the money.
