Legal Question in Family Law in Louisiana

I purchased a truck for income tax in 2010. The title has my name and my little boy's father name on it but he doesn't have a drivers licence. Can he just take the truck if he decides that that's what he wants to do? I use the truck for my job I'm a delivery driver.

If it was purchased during a marriage it is community property. If you are not married and you are co-owners, you will need to have the title changed. As long as the truck is in both of your names, it belongs to you both.
