Legal Question in Family Law in Louisiana
I recently found out that the affair my father had years ago resulted in a child. If my father signs EVERYTHING (money, property ect) over to my mother, will this child be entitled to any inheritance? What can we do to protect ourselves?

If all children are over 23 years of age when the parent dies, and they are not mentally incapacitated, then the parent can leave everything to anyone they want. They can do it by will so I do not understand why he would sign everything over to your mom.
