Legal Question in Family Law in Louisiana
reduction
my question is i am currently going to court on the 26th of march. i have my child support going thru the state. in 2000, cse increased my child support by $322.00, due to the fact my ex wife lived about her income. in the year 2000 when she filed for her taxes she made about $11,000.00 that year, but then the following year she made $15,000.00 more from that year to current. being that she is pretty much making about 8,000.00 more than ( ncp) i am, am i entitled to decrease. do cse also figure out the credit that i am entitled to, as far as the kids part. remind you i am currently paying 622.00 plus 180.00 for insurance for the kids. for a total of 802.00 remind you the state still have NOT given me credit for the health insurance. is cse going to calculate the credit when the modification if reviewed. any answer will be helpful. thanks

Re: reduction
You should be contacting the child support officials in the state where you reside who are collecting your money and sending it to the other state.
If you're not able to talk with anyone before your court date, you should, nevertheless, make sure that you bring all of your documentation that supports your claims to the court hearing.
Make sure that the documentation is well organized
so that it can be readily comprehended by whoever
needs to review it.
