Relocating a Child

I would like to move out of state with my child. The father and I were together for 4 yrs but were never married. Due to his acholoism, I need to remove her from the situation. My fear is he will say that I kidnapped her; how can I protect myself from this and still remove her from the situation quickly?

You can only kidnap your child if he has custody of the child or there is a court order prohibiting you from taking your child out of state. She is your child.
