restraining order

How can I get one without money.The court wants $500. I am terrified right now.

A domestic protection order should cost you nothing. Contact the Family court or Clerk of court in your jurisdiction. They have the forms and will assist in filing them out. Always remember though, a protective/restraining order is just a piece of paper and can stop no one from doing something they really want to do.
