Legal Question in Family Law in Louisiana
My ex is going to be retiring. We got back together after our divorce and I signed paperwork giving up my rights to my share of his retirement thinking we would always be together. My question is: can this be undone or am I an idiot and totally messed up.

Wow that could be complicated....or not. Whatever your interest in the retirement at the divorce remains yours unless you divided it at the divorce. If you had no interest, or you already have gotten a Judgment recognizing your fair share, the fact you "got back together" means nothing unless you re-married, because Louisiana does not recognize common law marriage.
