what rights do parents have when a 19 year old continues to break house rules? lies, hides, steals alcohol, and does not tell the whole truth unless someone catches her in a lie. she thinks she can do what she wants she is an adult.

She is an adult. Therefore, you have the right to put her out of your house and take away anything that you pay for (cars, cell phones, insurance, etc.).

She became an adult under the criminal laws at 17, and for all other purposes at 18. Why is she still at the house. What made you think she was still under your command? Even if she is still in high school, she is an adult just as much as you are. Throw her out if she refuses to follow the rules.
