Legal Question in Family Law in Louisiana

Do I have to sell?

My husband of 22 years recently ''came out'', so to protect his reputation, I agreed to a ''friendly'' divorce, letting his attorney do the work for us both quietly and discreetly. I got custody of our 14 year old daughter, and was to get our house, now, two months later, he is saying if I keep the house, I must pay him half. What can I do? I am just emotionally wrecked and feel he is taking advantage of this temporary weakness.
