Legal Question in Family Law in Louisiana

separation laws

My wife of 8 years left me 2 months ago, taking our two childen, ages 6 & 8 yrs. She filed for divorce, and is now living with her boyfriend & my kids. Is there anything legally I can do to get my kids out of that situation? We have a court date in July, and I am not contesting the divorce. Thanks

Re: separation laws

In the joint custody plan make sure it says neither you nor she can have someone of the opposite sex in the home while the children are there. However, if the divorce is granted soon, she can marry the guy and then the kids can stay there with no problem. The only other thing you can do is ask for domiciliary status of your children, but even if you get that, if she gets married then the kids will be around the new husband during the mom's visitation.
