Legal Question in Family Law in Louisiana

I have been seperated from my husband for 9 years. I have moved out of state since. I have no idea where he is, but I want a divorce. I have heard about placing an ad in the paper, and when if he doesn't respond, then I can get a divorce. How do I go about getting a divorce? I do not have much money. Can someone please help me?

You need to file for divorce, have a Curator appointed to represent the absentee husband and the Curator is who puts the ad in the paper. Cost is always a problem, so you have to speak to a lawyer about that.
