Legal Question in Family Law in Louisiana

Can a single Judgment be docketed in more than one state simultaneously? In other words, if I have a divorce Judgment for permanent spousal support in LA, can my former spouse, who now resides in another state, take the LA issued Judgment and docket it in his state so as to change it according to his state's regulations?

No, not while the LA court still has jurisdiction. It sounds like your spouse is trying to move the case to another jurisdiction. You need to fight that and keep the case here in Louisiana.
