Legal Question in Family Law in Louisiana

not getting his son

I have been dating the same guy for over two years and we live together. Last year around this time he found out he had a son. He will be three next month. He pays his child support, it comes out of his check through the state. He went to court over custody and he got every other weekend and rotate holidays. Last weekend he was supposed to get his son and she wouldn't let him come. Instead he went and stayed the weekend with her mother. She has never said anything about me living here and now she says the child can't be around me. What do we need to do about this matter? and do grandparents have any rights or more rights than the father?

Re: not getting his son

My answer to your boyfriend's question is the same to your question. If she wants to out during visits then she probably can have that. So you and the dad get married and everything is fine.
