My Sons education
Is there any recourse I can take my son who lives in louisiana with my ex husband. wants to send my son to job corp School which is located in baton rouge which is about an hour away form him for school. I heard this form my son who is 16 yrs old. the ex never inculuded me in the decision making. I have joint custody and co domicalary custody of him. I think he is too young to go to a domentary setting he would just go back to his fathers on the weekends. Our aggrement is that he come here to flodida every other month. Except for summers.

If you and your ex cannot come to an agreement, all you can do is go back to court -- whichever court awarded the joint custody in the first place. You son is 16, so his preference will be taken into account by the Judge.
