Legal Question in Family Law in Louisiana

My son's father and I in 2006 went to an attorney and agreed upon an amount of $500 a month for my son who was 5 at the time..At this time he had custody of his two kids who were then minors..Now in 2011 they are 20 and 18 and no longer live with him..My employer has recently cut hours to 30 hrs a wk instead of 40. I have no PTO, no insurance, no sick days..NO ANYTHING..When the school calls i have to leave to pick up my son which I am losing that time. I bring him to dr and dentist appts. Since 2006 he has received many bonuses, raises, EVERYTHING.. I asked him to increase it but he refuses..My question is can I receive an increase in child support..He makes very good money and now have no other children to take care of but our son.
