Legal Question in Family Law in Louisiana

In the state of Louisiana, If I am the domicile parent and the father has court ordered visitation on Monday and Wednesday and the child happens to join a extra curriculum activity at school which happens to fall on one of the days the father gets him and he refuses to let the minor child attend because it is his visitation. Do I have the final say so since I am the domicile parent?

It depends on what your joint custody plan states. If it is silent, then your and the dad should solve it amicably. If that can't be done, file to adjust the visitation schedule.
