Legal Question in Family Law in Louisiana

tax money

my wife filed for divorce on 2/6 and i

stopped contributing money to the

home on 1/6. She took 1/2 the tax

money which was 1200.00 (we filed

joint and claimed her 2 children and

our 1 child). She does not work and

used her portion to pay bills and

groceries.

Can the tax money that she took half

of count as me contributing to the

household?

No. In a community state, she owned 1/2.
