Legal Question in Family Law in Louisiana
temporary custody only in absence of parent
my mom wanted me to sign temporary custody papers for my 4 month old that stated they were only for medical purposes in my absence. my aunt typed them out on her computer we signed them got them notarised and then filed them at the court house. when i got home that day my mom kicked me out and now she wont let me see my baby at all and she says that i have no say in the matter. wha do i do?!! can i have a cop come over there with me to get him or what???

Re: temporary custody only in absence of parent
Simply signing papers only gives your mom temporary custody which you can rescind at any time. I doubt if a policeman will get involved, so you may need to get a lawyer to get your child back.
